Congratulations to the European THOR project and all its partners for their achivements during this project. THOR aimed to design an optimal and cost-effective thermoplastic composite pressure vessel for hydrogen storage.
We are honored to announce that our WoundSim software was used during the design phase to obtain optimized winding patterns, optimized boss shape and to predict initial burst pressures of the tank.
CETIM in-house software Optitank was also used during the correlation phase in order to fill a gap on detailed modeling of TP pressure vessels.
We will keep you posted regarding the progress of our collaboration with CETIM to push forward thermo-plastic pressure vessels design capabilities.
